A well-prepared Canvas course sets the tone for the semester and ensures students know how to get started and navigate course components. 

CELT provides detailed steps for finalizing grades, reviewing grading schemes, managing course access for students, and preparing for the next semester.  

Iowa State uses Canvas as its LMS. Canvas supports online course materials, assessments, discussions, and grading, providing a central hub for course management.

The university offers support for developing and delivering online and hybrid courses, including instructional design assistance, multimedia production, and technology integration.

Resources and guidelines are available to help faculty create accessible digital content for all students, including those with disabilities. 

The ISU Library offers a range of services to support teaching, including research guides, course reserves, instructional sessions, and liaison librarians who can collaborate with faculty to integrate library resources into their courses.

For faculty involved in research and teaching that requires significant computing power, the university provides access to HPC resources.
