Analogue Serious Games for Participatory and Collaborative Planning Processes: Design and Application Lecture

Join Micael Sousa, board game developer, designer and content creator, for a virtual lecture on “Analogue Serious Games for Participatory and Collaborative Planning Processes: Design and Application” from 1:10 – 2:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 21, via Webex.

Coordinated by the Department of Community and Regional Planning, Sousa will discuss how serious games have been used to support planning processes, especially in the participatory and collaborative planning approaches. The presentation will introduce modern analog design elements, the overall development of some of these serious games, and several case studies of how they have been applied to spatial and urban planning processes.
