In this presentation, Miray Boga, assistant professor of industrial design, will introduce an interdisciplinary design research approach that connects psychology, biology, and material culture to explore life-centered design.
Drawing on projects related to biophilia, cultural heritage, and bio-inspired storytelling, she will examine how people experience and make meaning through designed products, systems, and communication. Her talk will reflect on how these insights can inform future research and design practice.
Hosted by the Institute for Design Research and Outreach, this seminar is part of the College of Design Monday Chat series highlighting the work of new assistant professors in the college. All are welcome.
